Thank you to everyone who came to our Prize Presentation at the Creg-ny-Baa, we had a lovely evening celebrating your achievements and we hope you did too.

We were delighted to have with us Joanna Crookall from Ramsey Crookall and Ian & Emma Kinrade from Country Paving & Ornamental Ltd join us to present the awards.
Our series sponsors Ramsey Crookall, Country Paving & Ornamental Ltd and Evoke are three home grown businesses, all of whom are outstanding at supporting local initiatives, be it sporting, well-being, charity or community events – their companies are all inspirational in their approach to supporting Island and community ventures, and we’re truly grateful they agreed to sponsor our series. Having such great sponsorship means we could celebrate in style with beautiful rosettes and trophies and it also meant that all of the entry money, throughout the series, was retained by the hosting venues, having sponsors for the awards has ensured that the entry money is re-invested within the sport to ensure that venues can continue to offer the quality and range of events that they do.

Huge congratulations to our Individual Champions, each receiving a beautifully embroidered Champion’s Rug.
Dressage – Emma Quine – Eclipse FS, with the highest percentage score of the day
Cross Country – Lindsey Hotchkiss – whose round was the closest to the optimum time on the day
Show Jumping – Caitlyn Graham & Maam Valley Champ, who had the fastest jump off round of the day

This series wasn’t just about celebrating the achievements and successes on the day, as we all know “on the day” can always go two ways! This series was also to encourage riders to compete at different venues, strive to meet the level of qualification – and we’d all agree qualification was not automatic, the standard was set high. So we also wanted to recognise and congratulate those riders who shone over the qualification period, where consistency was the theme – racking up qualification score after qualification score - some went on to have success “on the day”, for others there will be another day and for some the Championship Show fell at the wrong time and through injury or other commitments they were unable to attend. They each received a voucher for £25 to spend at Country Warehouse.

Showjumping
Junior - With 15 Double clears in one class and 9 in a second - Lexi Looney & Conrhenny Jellybaby
Senior – With 9 Double clears in one class, 7 in a second and 6 in a third, Ali Callister & Brandy’s Touch

Cross Country
Junior - all with three clears rounds – Alice Teare & Blue Whisper, Hattie Pepper & Burnbank Aphrodite and Willow Curphey & Conrhenny Alice Springz
Senior - with a clear round in each of the four qualifying competitions – Jenny Forbes & Annefields Romeo

Dressage
Junior - With a total of 8 qualifying scores across two levels – Caitlyn Graham & Maam Valley Champ
Senior – With a 16 qualifying scores across three levels – Helen Squires & Leonardo

This year the Rachel Matulewicz Trophy went to Claire Jackson and Riffylands Playboy. The committee wanted to recognise the support and commitment Claire has shown to the sport, competing in all disciplines, at all venues, and supporting others to do the same. Claire was also presented with a £50 gift voucher to spend at Country Warehouse.
